Luise made only a few rare public appearances in the 1970s, concentrating on her artwork and spending her time between homes in London and Switzerland. Towards the end of the decade we can see the start of the nostalgia for the ‘golden age’ of Hollywood, which would peak in the 1980s. Many of those stars were now entering their 70s and television re-runs of their classic movies had brought them a huge new audience. Soon, Luise would once again be in the public eye and would begin a new era of creativity on stage and screen.
